Meet our Advisory Board Members

Scott DiBerardinis

Chairman of the 2022 NACLB Advisory Board and Executive Director of the NACLB. 

Scott is the Executive Director of the National Alliance of Commercial Loan Brokers. He previously served as the Business Director of Sales for an Asset Based Lending Company. He is a former commercial banking officer for Chase Bank and HSBC Bank in New York. His focus revolved around international finance, foreign currency exchange and trade and supply chain management. Scott has sat on the board of the International business Council for three years, his primary role was to host delegates from Rochester ,New York’s  sister cities to promote international commerce.  He received his bachelor of Business Administration from the State University of New York at Morrisville. Scott’s professional expertise includes loan structuring, SBA export financing, letters of credit, cash management; municipal financing related to bond, revenue and tax anticipation notes.

Bob Beller

Bob is a Principal of JP Commercial Funding LLC, a commercial real estate loan broker. Bob has over 30 years of diverse experience in financial services and has been an active participant in the private, public, and non-profit business sectors. Previously, Bob served as a New York litigation attorney, an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of New Jersey, and as Senior General Counsel and General Counsel, respectively, of two international securities and commodities broker/dealers. Thereafter, Bob served as founder and president of Vision Investment Enterprises Worldwide, an international asset management company, where he developed, operated, and sold complex traditional and alternative asset management investment products to institutional, high net worth, and retail investors, both domestically and offshore. He was Managing Director for the sales support division of Alpha Investments, one of the industry’s first, and at the time largest, fund-of-hedge-funds companies. He was also a principal of Altivus Financial Services, a start-up mortgage banking company. Most recently, Bob served as Risk Management and Institutional Compliance Officer for Athletics at Rutgers University.

Bob is a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Virginia School of Law. He is also the former Captain of the Harvard varsity basket team and a past president of the Harvard Club of New Jersey. He was the Keynote speaker at the opening of the Dalian Futures Exchange in China, formed and operated the first off-shore managed futures fund in South Korea, and led and participated in numerous panel discussions on alternative asset management products in the US, Europe, and Asia.

Connor Hibbs

Connor Hibbs, Business Development Coordinator at RCN Capital, specializes in building and maintaining customer relationships, educating potential clients on RCN Capital’s diverse product line and the problems RCN can solve, and promoting best practices to upcoming brokers.

Connor’s mission at RCN Capital has been to promote the reputation of RCN Capital and educate potential brokers and clients about the opportunities in residential investment properties. You can find Connor at tradeshows and mortgage expos around the country or speaking in broker training courses or hosting Webinars on various aspects of the residential investment process.

RCN Capital® is a nationwide, private direct lender. Established in 2010, we provide short-term fix & flip financing and long-term rental financing for real estate investors. Our loans, often called hard money loans, can be used for the purchase or refinance of non-owner occupied residential & commercial properties, financing of renovation projects, and bridge funding. Dana Wasson-Georgiou

Dana Georgiou is a 30 year mortgage veteran with the last several years spent exclusively in the private lending space. As one of the newest members of the AlphaFlow Executive Leadership Team, she joins the team as the Senior Vice President of Lender Partnerships, bringing a wealth of industry knowledge in sales, marketing and operations.  Dana is an avid speaker/panelist in the real estate lending space and a vocal advocate for education and training in Private Lending.  Dana Georgiou is a 30 year mortgage veteran with the last several years spent exclusively in the private lending space. As one of the newest members of the AlphaFlow Executive Leadership Team, she joins the team as the Senior Vice President of Lender Partnerships, bringing a wealth of industry knowledge in sales, marketing and operations.  Dana is an avid speaker/panelist in the real estate lending space and a vocal advocate for education and training in Private Lending.

Jared Weitz

Jared Weitz is the CEO and founder of United Capital Source, one of the fastest-growing business financing brokerages in the nation. Jared believes that every business deserves the opportunity to expand to its highest potential and he is committed to supporting their cause. Jared entered the finance world as an underwriter in 2006 and quickly grew in the ranks through Business Development and then onto building out internal sales teams. He knew right away this was the industry he was meant to be a part of. In 2011 United Capital Source was born and is now one of the leading brokerages Nationwide not just helping all business owners but many underserved business owners, UCS, an online marketplace using in-house developed proprietary software FUNDIO (trademarked) which connects small to mid-sized businesses to various credit and lines of capital and equipment financing within 1-3 days through it’s algorithms and API connections to over 75 lenders nationwide.In 2020 UCS surpassed 1 billion dollars in brokered financing for over  25,000 clients nationwide. Through this work, Jared won the National Commercial Loan Broker of the year award in 2019 and UCS has been listed on the Inc5000 list twice in 2015 and in 2017, Jared was elected as one of LIBN’s 40 under 40 here on Long Island as well.

Jared is also the Broker Council Chairman for the Small Business Finance Association (SBFA), a non-profit dedicated to ensuring small businesses have access to the capital needed to grow and strengthen the economy and helped create the Small Business Finance Broker certification, as well as a contributing member to NEFA, AACFB, YEC, and Forbes Finance Council and NACLB Advisory Board.  Every month he donates a portion of all proceeds from his business to charities doing meaningful work both locally in Long Island and around the world.

Jason Hoerr

Jason Hoerr is Market President at North Avenue Capital, the nation’s leading USDA B&I Lender.  Jason is responsible for the firm’s loan production.

North Avenue Capital specializes in providing senior debt financing up to $40mm to qualified Borrowers under a variety of USDA government-guaranteed lending programs, including the Business & Industry Program (B&I), Food Supply Chain (FSC), Community Facilities (CF) and Rural Energy for America Program (REAP).

Kurt Nederveld

Mr. Nederveld is the Founder and CEO of Rainstar Capital Group, Rainstar Development Capital and Rainstar Project Capital.  He is a serial entrepreneur, investor, debt adviser and highly sought after consultant in the debt capital markets. Mr. Nederveld and his team have overseen the completion of over $1 Billion in transactions since Rainstar Capital Group’s launch in 2014 and serves clients with corporate finance, commercial real estate, small business and equipment financing needs. 

Rainstar Capital Group is a leading national debt advisory and capital management firm. In 2009, Mr. Nederveld was diagnosed with cancer and is blessed to be cancer free today. In 2019, Mr. Nederveld suffered the tragic passing of his baby daughter Ava and is focused on providing Christian counseling to others as they deal with life’s hardships. Mr. Nederveld graduated from Calvin College based in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a B.A. in Business. He is active in leadership roles in his church, Gideon’s International, Institute of Reformed Biblical Counseling and in his role as a husband and father. He enjoys reading, playing basketball, tennis, pickleball, jet skiing and spending time with his family.

Scott Wright

Scott Wright is the president of Liberty Commercial Capital and has been a leader in the Finance industry for over 25 years. His philosophy about commercial finance planning starts by taking the time to get to know his clients and understand their needs. With his top notch team of experienced financial professionals and his affiliation with the world’s top financial institutions he is able to solve some of the most complex commercial finance issues. As a direct conduit lender he can offer the most competitive pricing and flexibility in the commercial and business loan market. As a result, Scott has an unblemished reputation as a trusted advisor that produces results.

In 2005 he was designated as a Master Financial Professional (MFP) by the American Academy of Financial Management (AAFM) and began his career by earning his BSBA majoring in finance from The Ohio State University in 1989. His resume includes management and executive level positions at American General, Banc One Financial Services and MidAm Financial Services / Sky Financial. Scott has been an independent mortgage finance advisor since 1999 as President of Liberty Financial and currently in his role at Liberty Commercial Capital.  Most recently, he received the Most Creative deal award at the 2018 National Alliance of Commercial Loan Brokers (NACLB) annual conference for 2018.

Tyler Deters

Tyler founded Paradigm Equipment Finance in 2011 with the goal of helping those that struggled to get financing for their business at traditional institutions.  He has been in the lending industry for over 20 years as a commercial and residential lender. Prior to founding the company, he worked in Utah and Arizona as a commercial lender for a large regional bank. He is an experienced lender in commercial real estate, SBA, equipment, accounts receivable, and hard money.  In his current role at Paradigm, he has raised equity and debt funds in excess of $90 million.  He has grown Paradigm into one of the premier equipment lenders in its space. 

He has a passion for golfing and spending time with his wife and three children. He also enjoys attending football games for his Alma Mater, the University of Utah along with serving within his community.

Dalton Elliott

Dalton Elliott is the Director of Sales for Lima One Capital, a nationwide lender for real estate investors. He is responsible for the daily operations and long-term strategy of the firm’s inside sales division, and he serves as host of the Real Estate of Things podcast. Dalton joined Lima One in 2015 during the startup phase and built out the firm’s mortgage broker channel to over $300MM in annual originations. He has held roles in operations, customer experience, and sales strategy.

Dalton is a 2015 graduate of Furman University. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Greenville Humane Society where he and his wife adopted their pup, Oliver. Dalton is also the Chair of the Ethics Committee for the National Private Lenders Association.
